In 2008, Mike was asked if he would paint live on stage at a large conference.
He immediately declined.
He reconsidered.
He changed his mind.
It changed his life.
Mike found the experience exhilarating and inspiring. Since then, he has made Performance Painting his main focus and enthusiastically takes his talents around the country to audiences of all sizes showcasing his skills as a Live Art Performance Painter.
Mike was raised in the Kansas City area and proudly still calls KC his home, living in the Historic West Bottoms District. Always having a passion for drawing and painting, Mike studied art and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. With the exception of a handful of years in corporate America, Mike has been a full-time freelance artist his entire career. He has successfully created countless portraits, murals, and commissioned works and continues to fulfill his life-long dream of creating, painting, and inspiring.
